Keep It Simple

When beginning an exercise program I observe many individuals beginning with little idea how, why and what to do. My advise is to keep it simple to start. Orientate yourself with the equipment and the instructions. Begin weight lifting with machines. This creates a stable platform and reduces the risk of injury. More complex movements and unstable surfaces can be added as you go. Goals and objectives need to be established and then a plan to accomplish that. Once the first goal is reached it is time to set a new one. Remain flexible with your goals and modify them when necessary.
